Understanding Narcissism
with Depth and Compassion

Where should I begin?

Heal NPD is redefining how narcissism is understood and treated. Our team works with each person as an individual, free from stigma and judgment. Grounded in the latest perspectives on personality and defense, our work helps patients make sense of their inner world and build new ways of relating to themselves and others. Our approach is both deeply relational and clinically informed, offering integration, self-understanding, and authentic connection.

A different approach to healing.

  • The person with NPD believes that the self needs to be extraordinary to be any kind of self at all.

  • The false self strives toward a version of self that will merit love, only to discover the love never feels real.

  • The individual with NPD wears a protective suit of armor, but that armor becomes a prison - trapping the person it was meant to protect.

  • Healing begins in the loosening of the need to feel extraordinary in order to feel real.

  • Authenticity is always present, the only question is where...and how.

  • Imagine a child caught between anger and the need for reassurance. Try to see yourself as that child.
